Okay, so today i woke up at 5am. All the lights in my room were off and my windows were open. Thewhoel room was washed with red. I got out of bed and blincked a few times, constantly thinking 'oh god there must be somethign wrong with my eyes'.

I got otu of bed and looked out one of the windows in my room. I was wrong. The whole sky, and everything outside for that matter, was red and orange. It was cloudy and i couldn't see the sun.
Stupid things started running through my head like "Holly crap, is there volcanos in PNG?! What the hell?!" I made my way to the Kitchen, where my mum was. There's a huge [pretty] glass wall in the Kitchen and all of our sitting area/patio/foutain/EVERYTHING was al dusty and the sky was red.

Mum told me that there had been a bad dust storm in NT and the dust was blowing over our way. We turned the new on and she was right. Australia has had some really bad weather latley but this was just crazy.

It got worse during the day and all students with Asthma were encoraged to go home. Some of my friends went hoem because they were feeling really sick. Some others just used the dust sotrm as an excuse to go down to Health Care.

Tommorrow there are supposed to be very bas storms and winds in Sydney so we are STUFFED.

When I woke up at 6:00 yesterday i thought the world was going to end because everything was bright orange. Beautiful picture of the bridge in the dust storm.
